33 House trade reports touched AI stocks since July. Here they are.
Nancy Pelosi gets the headlines, but she is one of hundreds of filers. We downloaded every Periodic Transaction Report filed with the House Clerk from July 1 to October 14, 2026 and searched them for twelve AI-linked tickers. Microsoft is the most traded, and the largest trades are options.
Members of the House report trades on Periodic Transaction Reports (PTRs), filed with the Clerk and published as PDFs. The STOCK Act gives them up to 45 days after a trade to report it, and amounts appear only as ranges. We pulled the Clerk's 2026 index, kept the 155 PTRs filed between July 1 and October 14, 2026, converted them to text and searched for twelve tickers: NVDA, MSFT, GOOGL, GOOG, AMZN, META, AVGO, TSM, AMD, ORCL, MU and PLTR.
The count
33 of the 155 reports, filed by 20 members, list at least one trade in those tickers. Microsoft appears in 17 reports from 11 members, Alphabet Class A in 10 reports from 6 members, and NVIDIA in 9 reports from 7 members. Palantir appears in only 2 reports. Many of these trades sit in managed accounts or retirement accounts, and many are in the smallest range, $1,001 to $15,000.
The largest: Gottheimer's Microsoft options
The biggest AI-stock entries in the period come from Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05). His report filed September 14, 2026 lists four Microsoft option trades on August 14, all in a jointly held Morgan Stanley managed account. He bought calls with strikes of $330 and $340 expiring October 16, 2026, and sold calls with strikes of $335 and $340 expiring December 18, 2026. Two lines are reported at $250,001 to $500,000 and two at $500,001 to $1,000,000.

NVIDIA: small trades on both sides
NVIDIA activity was modest in size. Rep. Sam Liccardo (CA-16) reported selling 100 shares from his Roth IRA on July 21, 2026, in the $15,001 to $50,000 range. Rep. Dan Meuser (PA-09) reported partial sales by his spouse on May 27 and August 31, each $1,001 to $15,000. Rep. John McGuire (VA-05) reported a purchase in a SEP IRA on August 18, $1,001 to $15,000. Rep. Gilbert Cisneros (CA-31) reported both a purchase (July 17) and a partial sale (August 18) in a trust account.
Alphabet and Microsoft sales
Rep. Michael Rulli (OH-06) reported a partial sale of Alphabet in a Roth IRA on August 24, at $50,001 to $100,000. Rep. Pete Sessions (TX-17) reported selling Alphabet on September 14, at $15,001 to $50,000. Rep. Kevin Hern (OK-01) reported a partial sale of Microsoft in a family foundation account on August 21, at $15,001 to $50,000.
What we left out
Senators file separately through the Senate's eFD system, which this review does not cover. We also did not count funds or ETFs that hold these stocks, or AI-adjacent names outside the twelve tickers, such as Bloom Energy or Intel. Late or amended reports filed after October 14 may add trades.
How to use this
A report filed in October can describe a trade from August. By the time a PTR is public, the price may have moved far from the trade date. For AI-stock traders, these filings are a record of what lawmakers did, not a timing tool.
What it shows / What it doesn't
It shows
- How many House trade reports filed from July 1 to October 14, 2026 mention major AI stocks, and from how many members.
- The largest reported AI-stock trades in that window, with dates, accounts and reported ranges.
- That options, not shares, account for the largest entries.
It doesn't show
- Senate trades, which are filed on a different system.
- Exact amounts, gains or losses.
- Whether any trade was linked to legislative work. These filings are required disclosures and do not indicate wrongdoing.
- Trades in funds, ETFs or AI-adjacent stocks outside the twelve tickers searched.
Why it matters
Congress-trading trackers often rank members by headline amounts. The underlying PDFs show that most AI-stock activity in the House is small and sits in managed or retirement accounts, while the large entries are options with specific strikes and dates that matter more than the ticker.
